During my recent business trip to Kandersteg, my director chose Alpen Chalet as our accommodation, and I must say, it was a fantastic choice. The first thing that struck me was the spa and pool area. The facilities were top-notch, providing a perfect retreat after a long day of meetings. The serene atmosphere and well-maintained surroundings added to the overall experience. The spa treatments were impeccable, leaving me feeling rejuvenated and relaxed. the pool was the perfect place to unwind, with its sparkling clean water and comfortable loungers. I couldn't have asked for a better way to end my busy days.
Maintenance can improve: 50% of light bulbs not working, in general poor lighting.

Its location down into that river is marvellous and stunning. There's views of the mountains. Staff is always amicable and excellent: D
The bathroom here is cramped.

I always stay at this charming chalet. They helped me with a late check out on my first stay. It has everything I need: Wi-Fi, car park, kitchen utensils, TV, laundry. Coming back for Christmas!

We had lovely 2 nights in this apartment. It had an amazing setting short walk to the center of town, right opposite a supermarket, restaurants and Kandersteg have to offer. The staff were excellent and easy to talk to.

Great for exploring the Alps by car, in a quiet and beautiful village. Convenient access to towns and attractions. Cosy chalet with enough space, good kitchen equipment and bathrooms. Fantastic mountain views. Supermarket and tourist info center nearby.

I gotta say, we got great value for our money at this place. The room was clean and cozy, and we even had our own whole cottage for just the three of us. The location was fantastic, only a 2-minute walk from the train station and right in the center of town. The staff at the hotel were super friendly and helpful, making our stay even better.
As for breakfast offerings, it would have been even better if there was a toaster or a combination oven in the kitchen. everything was great and we had a wonderful time.
